Washington County, PA (WJAC) — Moving on! Johnstown has advanced to the semi-final portion of the Pony League World Series bracket after defeating Chinese Taipei by a score of 4-2 Monday evening.
Johnstown scored all four of its runs in the first four innings of the game to hand Chinese Taipei its first tournament loss since 2014.
Johnstown now awaits the winner of Chinese Taipei and Bay County, Michigan.

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Affordable housing in Centre County could be getting a two-million-dollar boost.
The county is looking to spend that amount from extra funding through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
County administrators want the money to go to an affordable housing related construction or development project.

MEADVILLE, Pa. — A man thrown from a wagon and trampled by a horse at a Pennsylvania county fair and has died.
The Crawford County coroner's office says 64-year-old Saegertown resident Charles Burns was injured in the accident Wednesday at the Crawford County Fairgrounds and was pronounced dead 15 minutes later at a hospital.
Coroner Scott Schell says Burns was in a wagon that was making a turn when he was ejected and landed underneath the horse. Read More...
