GEISTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A popular Johnstown steak and alehouse announced it would be closing. Tulunes Steak and Alehouse located on Lulay Street near Scalp Avenue made the announcement Tuesday in a Facebook post. “When we began this journey 16 months ago, it was with the goal of providing the Laurel Highlands with a real steak and alehouse. Justice Dept. says Chinese cartels may be making millions off illegal pot grows in Maine

PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) — For the 18th time this year, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office took down another illegal marijuana grow house. No one was home and no arrests were made when they served the drug search warrant Thursday morning. They uncovered 200 marijuana plants, evidence of 1,500 harvested plants and 30 pounds of processed marijuana at a home in St. Albans, near a daycare. Man acquitted of all charges in 2019 slaying in park

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man has been acquitted of all charges in the shooting death of the son of a high-ranking police official during a brawl at a south Philadelphia park three years ago. A Common Pleas Court jury on Wednesday acquitted 22-year-old Tyquan Atkinson of murder, criminal conspiracy and weapons offenses in the March 2019 death of 20-year-old Nicholas Flacco at FDR park. Prosecutors said the victim, the son of an Internal Affairs commander who was home from college, was shot after several fights broke out. Read More...
