PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) — For the 18th time this year, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office took down another illegal marijuana grow house.
No one was home and no arrests were made when they served the drug search warrant Thursday morning.
They uncovered 200 marijuana plants, evidence of 1,500 harvested plants and 30 pounds of processed marijuana at a home in St. Albans, near a daycare.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man has been acquitted of all charges in the shooting death of the son of a high-ranking police official during a brawl at a south Philadelphia park three years ago. A Common Pleas Court jury on Wednesday acquitted 22-year-old Tyquan Atkinson of murder, criminal conspiracy and weapons offenses in the March 2019 death of 20-year-old Nicholas Flacco at FDR park.
