ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Kohl’s announced Thursday the department store will be launching a new initiative called Military Mondays, which will offer in-store discounts to those who served our country.
The store says it’s a way to celebrate and thank active and former military personnel, veterans and their families for their selflessness and service.
On its website, Kohl's says a 15% discount is valid in its stores every Monday, all year long, when customers show a valid military ID, military dependent ID or veteran ID. Read More...
LATROBE - The pilot of a small plane that crashed at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport has been flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
The executive director of the Westmoreland County Airport Authority says Doug Splitstone was taken to the hospital as a precaution. He was the only one aboard the Piper Warrior when it crashed about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
