UPDATE | Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Blair County have identified the suspect accused of barricading himself inside a home over the weekend.
Police say 67-year-old John Laird, of Altoona, reportedly barricaded himself inside a residence along East Pleasant Valley Blvd., in Antis Township, on Saturday afternoon.
Investigators say authorities initially responded to the residence for reports of a suicidal male.
Troopers say Laird allegedly would not allow a woman to leave the residence and was threatening to harm anyone who attempted to come to the home. Read More...
