Paterno Family's Beaver Stadium Run raises over $500k for Special Olympics PA

The Paterno Family Run brought thousands of runners and walkers onto the field at Beaver Stadium. They raised more than $500,000 to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes. “Nothing could be more perfect, we had great weather, great people, and everybody’s having fun and what more could we ask for and the cause is unbelievably good," said Sue Paterno. Police investigating reported vandalism at State College Starbucks

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Patton Township Police Department say they are investigating an alleged act of vandalism that occurred earlier this week at the Starbucks location on North Atherton Street. Police say officers were dispatched early Tuesday morning for a report of criminal mischief at the coffee chain. Authorities say officers discovered spray paint on the outside of the building, as well as damage to a window and a shattered glass front door. Read More...
