Explosion in New Castle injures man, damages 30 homes; ATF investigating

UPDATE | New Castle, PA (WPXI) — Authorities say at least one person was injured during a home explosion in Pennsylvania Tuesday morning. According to authorities, around 10:30 a.m., a contractor was working to demolish the home along Pollock Avenue, in New Castle, when something was either hit from underneath or inside of the garage, causing a massive explosion. Investigators say over thirty homes were damaged as a result of the explosion, mostly of broken windows and cracked foundations. Read More...

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A family fun tradition continues this year in Bedford County after a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19, the Bedford County Fair. Monday July 26th admission is $5 for Family Day and free for any Military Personnel or Veterans with a proper ID. The fun kicks off at the Bedford County Fairgrounds at 9 am and goes until 11 pm with a lot to checkout from rides to 4-H members showcasing their animals, a petting zoo, chainsaw artists and more.
