OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLUK) — Authorities are investigating a mid-air collision involving two aircrafts at the EAA AirVenture show in Wisconsin on Saturday.
Officials have not said if anyone was injured in the crash.
Dick Knapinski, director of communications for EAA, said it happened at 12:24 p.m. at the south end of the EAA AirVenture flight line at Wittman Regional Airport. Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A former prison guard at SCI Benner was sentenced Tuesday on charges related to smuggling contraband into the facility.
Kevin Hoch was sentenced to serve 9-and-a-half to 23-and-a-half months in the county jail.
Hoch was arrested last November after he admitted to being paid by an inmate's family to smuggle to contraband into the prison.
According to the affidavit, authorities began investigating Hoch after prison staff had reviewed phone conversations, made by the unidentified inmate, and suspected that a package was going to be delivered to Hoch's home. Read More...

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that specializes in building affordable housing, often through the work of volunteers.
In Centre County, the organization’s new “Whole Home Repair Program” won’t involve constructing new housing.
Instead, it’s aimed at providing assistance in substantial home improvement projects, such as new roofing, windows, or similar upgrades. Read More...
