A 28-year-old Somerset Borough man has been charged with several felony counts after police found child pornography files on his cellphone and computer.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, on Tuesday, officers with the state Attorney General’s Office and state police executed a search warrant on Jacob Ringler’s West Patriot Street home.
Police seized Ringler’s cellphone and desktop computer during the search.
A forensic examiner found 20 files on Ringler’s phone that reportedly depicted child sexual abuse, according to the affidavit. Read More...
ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — When Gov. Wolf ordered non-essential businesses to close, putting hundreds of thousands out of work, some business owners from Altoona started talking, asking what they could do to help.
“[Anthony] contacted me last Thursday,” said Doug Madden, owner of Doug Madden Pro Services. “We were talking about the community with the crisis going on.”

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Sharp criticism has been aimed at Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost in response to a letter he sent to the state's public universities this week.
The letter warns that student protesters wearing face coverings could face felony charges under a little-known law to deter Ku Klux Klan demonstrations.
