JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — Two local career and technical schools will be transitioning to remote learning, or closing, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the area. Officials with the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center say high school students will begin remote learning next week because of school closures around the area. A financial report states the Altoona-Blair County Airport had an operating loss of over $400,000 in 2023, but the airport manager said that number is out of context, and they had money in hand by the end of the year. The Altoona-Blair County airport manager Tracy Plessinger said even though it is a smaller airport they manage about $42 million in assets, and those assets losing value is what makes it appear as if the airport lost money. Georgia appeals court will review ruling allowing Fani Willis to stay on Trump case

ATLANTA (AP) — A Georgia appeals court on Wednesday agreed to review a lower court ruling allowing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to continue to prosecute the election interference case she brought against former President Donald Trump. Trump and some other defendants in the case had tried to get Willis and her office removed from the case, saying her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade created a conflict of interest.
