WASHINGTON (TND) — The three U.S. soldiers killed by a weekend drone strike on their base in Jordan were identified.
The service-members killed in "Operation Inherent Resolve" were 46-year-old Sgt. William Jerome Rivers; 24-year-old Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders; and 23-year-old Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett.
All three were Army Reserve soldiers were based out of Georgia, according to the Department of Defense.

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A ceremony was held in Somerset County Monday evening to honor the now former Somerset Chief of Police for his years of dedication and sacrifice to the community as he heads off for retirement.

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Judge Elizabeth Doyle dismissed a lawsuit Monday filed by a citizens group known as Blair County Citizens for Accurate Reassessment.
The BCCAR had sued the county's chief assessor DeAnna Heichel, the board of appeals and the company that conducted the most recent property tax assessment, Evaluator Services and Technology.
Evaluator Services and Technology assessed the property tax values in the summer of 2016, and county leaders certified the numbers last December. Read More...
